Maid Cafe Simulator Menu Slots Guide

Use Maid Cafe Simulator menu slots deliberately, match listed drinks to stocked stations, and diagnose a locked or ineffective slot without guessing an unlock level.

Menu slots control which of your available drinks the café is ready to sell during service. A larger recipe collection is not automatically a better active menu: every listed drink needs the right ingredients, a usable station, and enough staff time to prepare it. Fill the slots your current interface provides with drinks the room can produce consistently, then expand variety only after the order flow remains stable.

Read the active menu before opening

Open the café’s current menu view during a safe planning period. Distinguish recipes you have discovered from drinks actually selected for service. A recipe can exist in your collection without occupying an active slot, and an active choice can still fail in practice if stock or its station is unavailable.

For each visible slot, note the drink, required station, current ingredients, and whether a maid or the player can reach the equipment. The official game description confirms 49 total drinks across three station types, but it does not publish a universal slot cap or exact unlock schedule. Use the number and lock indicators shown by your save.

Build a small dependable menu first

Begin with choices that share equipment and supplies your café already handles well. This reduces travel and makes restocking easier to read. Add one drink from a different station only when that station has a clear work area and assignment.

Variety matters, especially when festivals or customer preferences affect demand, but unused variety still consumes planning attention. A compact menu gives you clean evidence: when service slows, you can identify which drink or station caused the delay instead of comparing many simultaneous changes.

Add one slot as a capacity test

When another slot becomes available in your current game, treat it as an experiment. Add one drink without changing the layout or roster. Run a comparable shift and watch order frequency, stock use, station queues, and delivery time.

Keep the drink if the café absorbs it comfortably. If one station becomes overwhelmed, decide whether the new option is valuable enough to justify a roster or layout change. Removing the drink for a later shift is not lost progress; the recipe remains part of your discovered collection.

Diagnose a locked menu slot

A lock can reflect story progress, café development, or another condition exposed by the current interface. Read any tooltip or nearby requirement exactly as displayed. Finish the active objective, close the current day normally, and review new messages or unlock notices before assuming the slot is broken.

Do not publish or rely on a precise level requirement unless the same Full Release build visibly states it. Demo limits and launch-window community guesses can look plausible while applying to a different progression state. If the lock remains after its displayed requirement is satisfied, save, reload, and capture the exact menu screen and objective for a support report.

Slot is open

Select a drink whose recipe, station, stock, and service capacity are all ready.

Slot is locked

Follow the requirement shown by the current interface and complete normal progression transitions.

Drink never sells

Confirm it is active rather than merely discovered, then compare customer demand during a full shift.

Orders overwhelm one station

Remove one competing drink or add capacity only after confirming the station is the bottleneck.

Prepare for festivals and inspections

The Full Release includes 13 festivals and later Maidchelin inspections. Before a special day, review whether the active menu can meet the event’s visible demand with current supplies. Do not fill every available slot simply because a special menu appears.

Use a stable core of familiar drinks, then reserve the remaining choice for the event or progression need shown by the game. Make the change before opening so you can stock and assign stations deliberately. After the event, restore the normal menu if the special mix creates unnecessary queues.

Troubleshoot unavailable orders

If customers request something the café cannot complete, compare the order name with the active menu and recipe collection. Confirm the required station is placed, powered or usable according to the interface, stocked, and reachable. Then check whether a maid has a valid duty for that preparation step.

If all requirements appear satisfied, make the drink manually once if the game permits. A successful manual preparation points toward assignment or station configuration; failure points toward recipe, stock, or equipment state. The Recipes guide explains how to keep a practical recipe record, and Duty Roster covers task bottlenecks.

Review the menu after every major unlock

Story chapters, new equipment, café expansion, and new maids can change what the room handles well. Revisit the menu after those events instead of leaving early choices untouched forever. Remove obsolete bottlenecks, but keep at least one dependable service configuration you can restore before a demanding day.

The safest menu is one you can actually serve. Slot count is only capacity; the quality of each choice comes from matching recipe knowledge, stock, equipment, and staffing.
