Maid Cafe Simulator’s Full Release advertises 13 main story chapters. The current Demo covers the first four chapters and Cafe Level 10 according to Accelix’s October 8 launch post. The remaining story, Yuki, Jennie, and Momo joining, Maidchelin inspections, 13 festivals, Dance Stage, and Performance Stage belong to the expanded base game. When progress appears missing, confirm the product and active objective before treating it as a bug.
Progress does not come from opening the café forever without reading the current task. Story, business growth, staff, time of day, location, and completed interactions can meet at one trigger. Use the objective text as a checklist, close the current shift normally, and inspect the relevant place after the expected time transition.
Main story
Track chapter, exact objective text, required location, named character, café state, and time of day.
Café growth
Use the visible Café level and unlocked facilities. The Full Release cap is 40, not the Demo boundary.
Maidchelin stars
Prepare for an inspector through the requirements shown in your save; do not invent hidden score thresholds.
Festival calendar
Expect changed customers and orders during 13 published festivals. Stock from the current event menu.
Stages
Separate the mid-service Dance Stage from every-fifth-night Performance Stage filming.
Identify the current progression lane
Read the active main objective before opening for another day. If it names a person, location, facility, drink, or time, write those conditions down. A task that says “wait until evening” is asking for a state transition, while a café-level task requires business experience. Repeating service cannot replace a missed conversation, and visiting a character cannot replace a missing growth requirement.
Check the product boundary. Demo AppID 4416560 intentionally stops within the early story scope. Full Release AppID 3232690 continues past it. If the Steam library launched the Demo shortcut, later maids and systems will not appear no matter how efficiently you run the café.
Keep a separate note for bond stories. Official materials list 36 bond stories, but a relationship event is not automatically the next main-story event. Completing one can be meaningful without moving the chapter counter.
Advance a normal day cleanly
Before opening, finish outstanding phone messages and inspect the current objective. Run the necessary café activity, settle customers, and close through the normal interaction. Visit the lounge, exterior, or named area after closing if the task implies evening. Let dialogue and scene transitions finish before saving or quitting.
If a target character is standing outside or in another fixed position, approach and read the interaction rather than assuming the time change will move her automatically. If an objective requests a specific drink or facility, verify its current in-game name and placement. Translation labels can change, so compare icons and objective state as well as text.
Save after a confirmed objective update. Distinct save points around a story change make it easier to identify which action advanced the quest and safer to recover from a launch-window issue.
Diagnose a quest that does not progress
Begin with reversible checks: verify AppID, active objective, current time, open/closed café state, required room or exterior area, named character, phone messages, and visible requirements. Close and reopen the relevant menu, then move through one normal time transition. Avoid skipping many days before confirming a single cycle.
For a Demo-tagged transfer, keep the original slot. The launch announcement says transfer is supported by selecting [Demo] on the Full Release save screen. One player reported a transferred save remaining on “wait until evening” while Yuki stayed outside. Treat that as one launch-window symptom, not proof that every transfer fails or that every instance has the same cause.
Do not edit save files, delete folders, or install unrelated tools as a first response. Those changes can remove the state needed for diagnosis. If a fresh Full Release save reaches the trigger while the transferred slot does not, include that comparison in a bug report without erasing the affected slot.
Prepare for Maidchelin inspections
The official description makes three Maidchelin stars the long-term café goal and calls the inspector the toughest guest. Accelix says a judge arrives when requirements are met. Public first-party material does not list every numeric threshold, so use the current objective, inspection UI, and results screen for precise requirements.
Before an inspection, stabilize the whole service chain: supported menu, stocked ingredients, working stations, clear delivery paths, register access, and tables that turn over. An inspector event can expose the same queue problems as an ordinary rush. Expanding immediately before the visit can introduce new walking and stock pressure.
After an attempt, record the displayed feedback rather than guessing at an invisible formula. Change the weakest shown condition, repeat under similar menu and staffing, and keep any exact threshold tied to the build and date in which it appeared.
Use festivals as planned demand changes
The launch post lists 13 festivals that rotate through the calendar and change who walks in and what they want to order. Treat a festival as a different service profile. Read the event or menu information, stock the drinks that are actually offered, and rebalance station coverage before opening.
Do not convert “13 festivals” into an invented calendar. The official announcement confirms the count and behavior, not every date, order pool, reward, or prerequisite. Record those fields only when the current client displays them.
If festival progress appears absent, confirm story position and current calendar rather than advancing days blindly. A future event can be scheduled correctly even when it is not available at your present chapter.
Distinguish Dance Stage and Performance Stage
Accelix describes the Dance Stage as a café feature where maids perform during service and customers can leave tips. That is part of the business floor. Make sure the stage is built, reachable, and compatible with the current service layout before expecting it to function.
The Performance Stage is described as opening every fifth night for filming. On that night, the player chooses a maid, outfit, song, and difficulty, performs, and tries to capture target shots for an in-game social post. This is a timed night activity, not the same as the daytime customer show.
When a stage objective is unclear, record which stage is named, the in-game night number, available interaction prompts, and any target-shot indicator. Do not use an operating-system screenshot as a substitute for an in-game camera mechanic unless the current objective explicitly accepts it.
Keep a spoiler-light chapter record
For each chapter, note only the starting objective, required café condition, important location, completion trigger, and whether it unlocks a system or maid. Avoid filling unknown rewards or exact triggers from one forum reply. A useful walkthrough can say what the player should check without exposing every scene.
Mark whether the result was observed in the Full Release, imported from a Demo save, or reported by another player. Demo and Full Release management changed across updates, and a transfer-specific issue should not become general chapter advice.
Use Quest Not Progressing for a reversible diagnostic sequence. Visit Guides for Demo transfer boundaries and Cafe when a growth requirement is really a service problem. The Steam store page describes the 13-chapter Full Release, and the Steam News hub is the place to check for later trigger or transfer fixes.
